About

I’m a painter from the South of Germany and my art journey started in in the jungle of cambodia. I took a set of watercolor with me, had a lot of time there and started to paint.

I’m inspired by nature and its infinite creations and forms. Through the changing seasons in my region, the landscape is in constant flux; just as the eye becomes accustomed to something, the light is alredy changing. Within me arises the desire to capture something, a snapshot of this ever-changing world.

Painting makes me see and observe the world and especially my near surrounding in greater detail, opening up beauty and fostering my imagination.

Not only does our imagination grow while painting, but also our inner connection with the place we dedicate to. Through intense observation, we start internalizing our environement.

The artistic process then transforms this internalized space into a new, unique expression. For me, naturalistic, impressionistic painting is the starting point and then evolves into more expressionistic forms. 

The medium of watercolor fascinates me as it easily interacts with other media and leave his own, often random marks on a painting.
